Public works is the backbone of a thriving community and ensures safe roads, clean water, and reliable sanitation services that keep Helena running. Helena's future depends on well-maintained infrastructure. During my time as The City of Helena's Water Treatment Superintendent, I collaborated with city leaders on key infrastructure upgrades to improve Helena’s water system, including maximizing water rights through the Ten Mile headgate rehabilitation, enhancing treatment and conservation with filter system updates, securing funding for the Red Mountain flume rehabilitation, and improving safety and efficiency via chemical feed system upgrades at both water treatment plants. As your City Commissioner, I will continue to prioritize responsible investments that safeguard what we have while preparing our systems to serve future generations.

Helena's families, workers, and young people deserve a place they can afford to continue to call home. I will support efforts to expand affordable housing options while protecting the character of our neighborhoods. Growth should strengthen our community, ensuring that residents can thrive and prosper. 

Our community depends on a healthy, well-maintained Ten Mile watershed. Caring for the surrounding lands, including our trail systems and open spaces, is critical to keeping our community strong. Protecting these resources is not only about conservation; it is about ensuring that Helena continues to succeed for generations to come.

A resilient community is built on a flourishing local economy. As Helena Commissioner, I will work to support local small businesses, attract well-paying jobs, and promote responsible growth that aligns with Helena's needs. By investing in our community, we can ensure that people can afford to live, work, and build their futures here.

As Helena continues to grow, I want our community to continue to be safe. As Commissioner, I will prioritize strengthening our first responders, advocating for adequate staffing and resources for the Helena Police Department, and supporting our 911 dispatch team with the training and tools they need to answer every call promptly.
